What a Vedic astrologer looks at
7th house and its lord
The house of marriage and partnership. Its sign, its lord's placement and strength, and the planets that occupy or aspect it show how readily marriage comes and how it feels.
Venus and Jupiter
Venus is the karaka of love and the wife; Jupiter is the karaka of the husband in a woman's chart. Their dignity and placement colour the whole marriage.
Navamsa (D9)
The divisional chart of marriage and inner life. A promise seen in D1 must be confirmed in D9; planets strong in both deliver well.
Darakaraka and Upapada
In Jaimini astrology the planet with the lowest degree (Darakaraka) describes the spouse, and the Upapada Lagna shows the marriage as the world sees it and how long it lasts.
Dasha periods
Marriage happens in the Mahadasha and Antardasha of planets tied to the 7th house, Venus, the Darakaraka and the Upapada.
Double transit
An event manifests when both Jupiter and Saturn influence the 7th house or its lord at the same time. This narrows a dasha period down to months.
Manglik dosha
Mars in the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th or 12th from the Lagna, Moon or Venus. Many charts carry it in a cancelled form; matching with a similar chart is the traditional answer.
Love or arranged
Links between the 5th house of romance and the 7th, Venus with Mars, and Rahu point to a self-chosen match; Jupiter's blessing and the 9th house point to family involvement.

How reliable is the free analysis?
It applies classical rules from Parashari and Jaimini astrology consistently to your chart. It narrows the timing to a few periods and highlights the main themes. A personal reading weighs the whole chart, including your present situation, which no fixed set of rules can do.
I don't know my exact birth time. Can I still use it?
Yes, with care. The Lagna changes about every two hours and the Navamsa every 13 minutes, so the houses, the spouse profile and the timing can shift. Use the closest time you have; an astrologer can rectify it from life events.
Does Manglik dosha mean my marriage will have problems?
No. It is very common and is often cancelled by Mars's own strength or Jupiter's influence. When it is present, the traditional remedy is matching with a partner who has a similar placement.
The timing windows include past periods. Why?
The page lists the strongest periods across ages 20 to 42 so you can check them against your own life. If a past window passed without marriage, the next upcoming window carries more weight.
Is love or arranged marriage fixed by the chart?
The chart shows tendencies. Many marriages today combine both, and the page shows which signatures are present so you can judge for yourself.
